Visitors from around the world are making the trek to the Midwestern city of 13,000 not to visit the International Circus Hall of Fame or the birthplace of composer Cole Porter, but to witness an innovative treatment process at its wastewater treatment plant. In 2007, Peru Utilities’ Division of Water Management completed an $18 million upgrade on one of the city’s two wastewater treatment facilities.
As a mid-sized drilling contractor in the Appalachian basin, Warren Drilling Co. Inc. has been serving customers in West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky for 70 years. The company was founded by Tilton Warren and his sons, Paul and Lewis. Paul’s son Dan Warren now serves as president.
